Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning:

Individual Career Counseling:
Career guidance for graduate students at all levels of study is offered in the individual 50 minute appointments. To make an appointment, call 631-5200.
New Career Search Engine - Career Shift:
The Notre Dame Career Center has recently acquired access to a website called Career Shift. It is a powerful job search site which checks over 6800 jobs posting sites and compiles the results for different fields. There are many useful tools on the site including the ability to see which alumni work at a particular company and what position they hold. The Career Center is always interested in feedback for this site. If you have any suggestions you can contact Lisa Anderson.
The Graduate Junction
The Graduate Junction, launched in May 2008, is the first website to bring together Masters, Doctoral and Postdoctoral researchers and scholars from all disciplines across the globe, already including members from +70 countries. The Graduate Junction provides the opportunity to find, communicate with and form networks with peers who share common research interests in a global multi-disciplinary environment. They continue to expand their offerings, which include academic conferences, job opportunities, postgraduate journals and advice forums.
Aerospace Jobs and Internships Available
Volpe Center (R&D arm for US Dept. of Transportation) has 1 or 2 graduate intern/co-op (paid) positions to start work immediately, and several full-time opportunities (being announced in May) for Aerospace engineers with interest and/or background in fluids and applied research. Interest in aviation or willing to learn air traffic related issues (MATLAB experience a plus).
