  • National Science Foundation's Graduate Fellows in K-12 Education Program ( GK-12 ) deadline: April 3, 2009
  • The GSU Conference Presentation Grant Program provides supplemental funding for attending professional conferences during one's graduate career at ND. It is designed to partially reiumburse expenses incurred during travel to conferences related to the student's major field of study. The Conference Presentation Grant Program is to be considered supplemental to departmental and other sources of funding.
  • The Michigan Society of Fellows was founded in 1970 through grants from the Ford Foundation and Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies for the purpose of promoting academic and creative excellence in the humanities, the arts, the social, physical, and life sciences, and in the professions.The objective of the Society is to provide financial and intellectual support for individuals selected for outstanding achievement, professional promise, and interdisciplinary interests. We invite applications from qualified candidates for three-year postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Michigan.
  • The Zahm and Downes Research Travel Grants are available to Notre Dame graduate students, offering financial assistance to help defray travel costs directly related to research or attending workshops and seminars. (See the "Travel Grants" section.)
  • The Graduate Fellowship Database: Allows customized online searches for graduate fellowships, grants, and awards. The information contained in the Database is updated through frequent correspondence with foundations, universities, and other sponsoring organizations.
  • The Graduate Fellowships Newsletter Online: Web version of the university newsletter for grant and fellowship information with upcoming deadlines.
  • Community of Science: Includes a searchable database of more than 20,500 grants and awards, as well as news on current research activity, funding received, and recent publications.
  • Illinois Researcher Information Service: The IRIS Database is searchable, and includes upcoming deadlines arranged by field.
  • Social Science Research Council: Includes fellowship information arranged by academic level, and proposal writing tips.
