H1N1 Flu Vaccine Notice

Health officials report the receipt of the first shipment of a very limited supply of the novel H1N1 vaccine in St. Joseph County. County Health officials are attempting to provide the vaccine to people in the highest risk groups. Please watch your email for information regarding the availability of vaccine to the Notre Dame community. We will provide you with information as it is made available to us.

Highest Risk Groups as defined by the CDC:

  • Pregnant women
  • Household and caregiver contacts of children younger than 6 months of age (e.g. parents, siblings, and daycare providers)
  • Health care and emergency medical services personnel
  • Persons from 6 months through 24 years of age
  • Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have medical conditions associated with a higher risk of influenza complications
